I'm Velvet Matheson
Designing spaces that have flow and interest has been something I have been doing since I was big enough to push my bedroom furniture around. Design school seemed like a perfect chance to enhance all the things that I loved doing.
I am a northern Alberta girl and received my interior design technologist diploma in 1993 from NAIT. I’ve had great opportunities from Edmonton, Red Deer and now 20 years in Calgary to learn and grow my design skills, contacts and knowledge…sometimes through the school of “Hard Knocks” however 25+ years later in the industry and 10 years on my own have been taught me so much. Yes! I have over 30 years combined experience in the industry.
I’m a designer that will work with you to create a space that is functional and that expresses your style. A place that makes you want to come home and that you can be inspired in. I am also a Feng Shui Practitioner through Mount Royal College and love looking at the energy flow in homes.
